My Story

I believe in channeling my creative urges in order to produce unique artwork in Brooklyn, Rochester, NY. My inspiration for my works is the miracle of life. RAHMELYIA AHRTZ Studio is born out of a combination of my education, Life training, and experiences, which allows my perspective as an artist to remain traditional yet visually and contemporary. Art is how I battle against the indifferences and my wisdom that , I offer new ways of viewing the world today.

Intro Into Illustartion

In this class, participants will learn to express themselves through illustration. They will learn too access clarity of thought, contentment through the vehicle of artistic expression, and uncover new methods of communication through the visual arts. Starting with general concepts in general shapes, sizes, depth perception, and shading we will connect these basic and explore methods of creating multi-dimensional illustrations. Explore how illustration/drawing shaped early civilization, gave visual depiction to philosophical thought, enhanced the scientific understanding of nature, and entertained the globe both young and old.

RASHAKIM ABIMILECH HUDSON

Rashakim A. Hudson is a cultural illustrator that has more than 33 years of experience. His works can be best described as multi-dimensional as they all express slices of the human experience that make him as much a storyteller as he is an artist. He is also a photographer currently working on projects in around the Rochester area. Rashakim Hudson is the owner-operator at RAHMELYIA AHRTZ STUDIO.
In addition to being a local artist, Rashakim A. Hudson is the Founder/Director of F.A.T.H.A & T.O.R.C.H, which is a peer to peer mentoring group for fathers and adolescents advocating and providing an improved self-awareness and reintroduction to the village mindset.
